Speed of light

Light always travels in a straight line and its speed in a vacuum is 3×108m/sec.

The speed of light is very high as it travels at 300000 Km/sec. Nothing can travel as fast as light. you can say it as the sun is 144000000 km away from us but the sunlight travels from there to the earth's surface only in 8 minutes and 12 seconds. Light travels different media at different speeds. The speed of light varies as per the media. It is slower in the air and still slower in water.

Practice that feels like the real Olympiad.

Achievers’ question banks that mirror the exam. Less theory. More score.
