Human keep on moving from one place to another. In old times carts pulled by animals or horses were very famous and preferred means of transport.
Modes of Transport
3 modes of transport are : Land, Air and Water.
This is most common mode of transport. Vehicles like cars, bycycles, bikes, scooters are very famous means of land transport. Railway is another mean of land transport. Railway is preferred for long distance travelling. Bicycles are preferred for very small distance travelling.
The airway is the fastest mode of transport but it is also the costliest mode of transport. Airplanes and helicopters are means of air transport.
Water in cheapest way to transport goods between 2 cities or 2 countries but it is also the slowest. Boats, ferries, ships are means of water transport.
Train, car, bus can be used to travel between 2 cities.
Scooters and bikes are generally used to cove a long distance with in a city.
Train is preferred over car for very long distance.
Train, bus and aeroplane are public means of transport.
Car, bike and scooter are private means of transport.
