SOF's IMO for grade 3 is a renowned Maths Olympiad. It is conducted in two levels. Only top 5% students from level 1 qualify for level 2.

Syllabus and pattern for IMO grade 3 exam:
Total number of questions: 35
Total marks: 40
Logical Reasoning Syllabus: Patterns, Analogy and Classification, Alphabet Test, Coding-Decoding, Ranking Test, Grouping of Figures and Figure Matrix, Mirror Images, Geometrical Shapes, Embedded Figures, Days and Dates & Possible Combinations.
Maths Syllabus: Numerals, Number names and Number Sense (4-digit numbers), Computation Operations, Fractions, Length, Weight, Capacity, Temperature, Time, Money, Geometry, Data Handling.
Pattern: There are 35 questions. First 10 questions are of logical reasoning and rest are of Maths. Each question carries 1 mark except for the last 5 questions. Last 5 questions are achiever's section questions and carry 2 marks each.
