Simple Machines

Though, human beings are the most evolved animals in the whole animal kingdom but it does possess some limitations. The physical  strength possessed by us is inefficient to deal with our desires to explore everything around us. In order to do this we simple machines were discovered, so as to make the work being done by the humans easy and efficient without requiring much strength. What are these machines first of fall? These are the tool which make our work effortless and faster. The machines can help us to perform numerous works. The different types of simple machines we will discuss here are-

1. Levers- Levers are common tools which are used by us in our daily activities. You may have tried lifting an heavy object using a rod and a stone. It is done to establish a fulcrum between the stone and the rod which is immovable and then effort/force is applied from your end of the rod which cause the lifting of the object from the other end of the rod. when the fulcrum lies between the load and the effort then it is known as the first class lever. Examples- Scissors, See-saw,etc.

2. Inclined plane-  This is slope we all have seen commonly when a person unloads the heavy objects from the truck or surfaces at higher distance from the ground. Usually, we can use a wooden plank as inclined plane as well.

3. Pulley- We have seen the procedure of extracting water from the wells. A wheel and a long rope are commonly used for this purpose. This is known as pulley that is a small wheel with a groove at its edge.
