 Ray and Beams
  • A ray of light is a very narrow path of light represented by a line with an arrowhead showing the direction traveled by it.
  • A beam of light has several rays. When these rays ate coming from far off objects, they form parallel beams.
  • The rays from a very small source of light are called a point source. The light spreads in all the directions and forms a divergent beam.
  • If all the rays of light come and meet at one point, the light beam is called a convergent beam.
