One Word Substitution

The Dictionary Meaning:

                One word substitution means that a sentence has to be replaced with a single word.

 

In Simple Words

                A single word that explains or makes a big sentence more clear or understandable is used instead of writing a phrase or a lengthy sentence. The meaning of the word is similar or identical, yet the sentence becomes shorter after the use of the one-word substitution.
