SOF's IMO for grade 5 is a renowned Maths Olympiad. It is conducted in two levels. Only top 5% students from level 1 qualify for level 2.

Syllabus and pattern for IMO grade 5 exam:
Total number of questions: 50
Total marks: 60
Logical Reasoning Syllabus: Patterns, Analogy and Classification, Geometrical Shapes, Mirror and Water Images, Direction Sense Test, Ranking Test, Alphabet Test, Logical Sequence of Words, Puzzle Test, Coding-Decoding.
Maths Syllabus: Numerals, Number names and Number Sense (7 and 8 digit numbers), Computation Operations, Fractions and Decimals, Measurement of Length, Weight, Capacity, Volume, Time, Temperature and Money, Conversions, Geometrical Shapes and Solids, Angles, Perimeter of Various Shapes & Area of Rectangle and Square, Symmetry, Data Handling
Pattern: There are 50 questions. 15 questions are of logical reasoning and rest are of Maths. Each question carries 1 mark except for the last 5 questions. Last 5 questions are achiever's section questions and carry 3 marks each.
